Welcome to
Southwest Women in Regional Enterprise ...

SWIRE, has been established by self employed business women, based in the Southwest, who run their own companies and want to help other women do the same. It is an independent group, although it does use local government facilities to promote itself and its events wherever this is possible.

The range of businesses involved varies from sole traders to limited companies. Most members balance the need to make money, with personal fulfillment and family life.

We welcome all women who run, or are thinking of starting, a business in the Southwest.

We meet every six weeks at the Monks Yard in Ilminster just off the A303/A30.  Our meetings have a business focus with lots of opportunity for networking too.

SWIRE is run by members for members - lots of us do a little bit to make things happen. If you want to get involved, even by simply volunteering to greet new visitors, your help would be greatly appreciated.

Additionally, if you yourself or anyone you know would be suitable as a speaker at one of our events, then please either speak to a Committee member or contact Teresa Rose.
